Since
June 1st 2010, the British High Commission in Nicosia are no longer
able to issue passports, therefore British nationals living in Southern Cyprus
need to send their applications by courier to The UK Regional Passport
Processing Centre in Madrid. Details of application fees, how to pay, and
courier costs can be found on the British High Commission website
ukincyprus.fco.gov.uk. For those that
visit the High Commission offices with their passport application, the High
Commission will forward the applications to Madrid, however the applicant will
be responsible for the courier fees in addition to the application fees.
